A pro drummer in the ‘80s, an alt-rock guitarist in the ‘90s, electronic musician/vocalist in the ‘00s, songwriting collaborator, always searching for the new vibe, I created my personal sound called Emanate 7.

In 2007, I got into creating electronic-based music and at that time it seemed the airwaves were flooded with guitar rock. I built my project studio, Emanate 7, to produce ambient music, which is centred on keyboards and drums.

Ten years later, I got back into guitars and noise! I recorded and overdubbed myself on my acoustic drums, electric bass and electric guitar in the summer of 2017. A couple of years later I upgraded my software and sorted through a treasure chest of tracks. In 2020, the pandemic brought new musings, and my guitar came back, out of the closet. Now, I'm "Ready To Rock"!

Although mostly in the rock genre (bloom, Opposites Attract, Strangers In A Strange Land, Walk Out Weird), Miller has worked both as a musician/percussionist and as a sound engineer and recording artist with classical and jazz artists, including New Brunswick's Motion Ensemble, Montréal’s Sky Beneath My Feet, and members of Symphony N.B. He was Fredericton Arts Alliance artist in residence in 2015/2016 at The Soldiers Barracks, Fredericton N.B. with Natalie Sappier (Samaqani Cocahq).

Miller played guitar/electronics/vocals with Sky Beneath My Feet (Montréal), Opposites Attract, bloom, Strangers In A Strange Land (Victoria B.C.) As a drummer, he played with Toronto bands; Walk Out Weird, Shining Path, and Zero And The Big Bad Wolves.
